Most published plays are available from Samuel French Ltd.   Companies choosing to perform a published script have the responsibility of purchasing scripts from and paying performing rights to publishers. The Festival organisers take no responsibility for plays performed without payment of performing rights.

Love is a luxury which very poor people can afford.  Fender does not get enough food or a tailor-made overcoat, in this life.  But he accepts with humility the deprivations forced upon him.  To prefer to go on living is to love in the context of this story and because this is loving at its most deprived, the story is a sad one.

Martin wins the right to another day on earth in a one on one game of Uno with Death and decides to live his last day as only he wants to. For Martin this means anything from ridding China of Communism to reforming the members of Led Zeppelin.
